We think we're different for three reasons:

1. You and Us v's Them and Us
We're committed to helping you as cost effectively as possible. Most consultants say that. We really believe that it's about you and us growing together. If we can resolve business issues for you quickly and cheaply then you will be able to grow faster

As you grow, assuming we continue to do excellent work, we trust you'll continue to work with us and you'll need us more.

So we're committed to you and us growing together, not to getting as much money out of them to make us happy.

2. Getting to know your business
We are prepared to invest time and effort in getting to know your business, understanding your industry, team and specific approach. Obviously this can't be done in 30 seconds. Many consultants write it off as either unnecessary or too expensive. We think it's central to making a real contribution to what you're doing.

We have our own reasons (as outlined below) for wanting tog et to know you and your business. We believe this investment in learning to work excellently together needs to take place at every stage in proportion to how closely we are working together. At the very beginning of our client relationships we like to 'put our money where our mouth is' and offer a free ½ day of consultancy. We will do one of three things with this time; conduct a sales and marketing audit, discuss and identify opportunities for technical development, put together an export feasibility study.

3. Long term partnerships
Our eventual aim is to develop a long-term business partnership with you. Key to doing this is being able to talk honestly and openly about any issues that arise and to preserve transparency in our dealings. For this reason we value honesty. From us and from you. If we make a mistake we'll say so and do what we can to put it right, when we do something excellent we hope you'll say so.

We aim to deliver interventions that feed into the rest of the company's activity and enhance it in the medium and long-term. Not projects that just tick all the boxes (although we'll do that too).
